Sunday evening was a belated celebration meal for Saint Valentine. After spending some time choosing where to go, Two Doors Down in Dartmouth Crossing won out as the choice. Having enjoyed the Two Doors Down and the two doors up, in Halifax, we had expectations but decided to limit them and see how it would be. Well, it was an amazingly satisfying experience. Amazing food, exquisite freshness, wonderful flavours, cute presentation and pretty plates. There is so much to say, I could write an essay on the intricacies of the food experience. Beyond that was the great service from the delightful Sarah. Each layer of the meal, my husband, Jon, and I chose a set price meal choice, was so experiential. Especially for me, as we live rural and when in town, we both tend to grab and go, i.e. chain it.

When you're from out of town and staying for a week, you look for a GOOD local spot; I was at 2 Doors Down Good & Wine twice this week! And if I was staying longer, it would've been more. The food is INCREDIBLE!! Absolutely INCREDIBLE!! I will not forget this place! I just might try to squeeze in a lunch on my to the airport tomorrow! If you're in Dartmouth, you need to go here! NEED TOO!!

This is a delightful restaurant. Clean, simple. Staff are most accommodating. Cocktails are delicious and creative. I have had the pleasure of dining here 3 times and each time I have not been disappointed. The home made biscuits are addictive, they arrive in a little bown paper bag with a small bowl of butter and molasses, so good. The burgers are juicy and amazing as are the onion rings and French fries. My companion this time ordered the Philly steak with in house cheese sauce and hoagy, he opted for the soup as a side and loved it. We opted for the lemon creme Brule, terrific. Great spot and lots of parking as it is in Dartmouth crossing. You will not be disappointed. This restaurant is popular for good reason. Great service. Clean ambiance, food is excellent. Management: only one thing I would recommend is to change those uncomfortable metal bar seats ( not inviting), it's a quick fix....

Get ready to be inspired by the ultimate Burger week experience at 2DoorsDown! I began with an outstanding Sangria, which set the stage for an unforgettable meal. The Burger week special, The El Grande Queso Smash , was love at first bite - a warm toasted potato bun packed with two smashed beef patties, melted pepper Jack cheese, zesty jalapeño-tomato relish, creamy guacamole mayo, sharp red onion, and crispy tortilla chips, finished with ooey gooey queso and crispy onion rings with hot honey (the best I've ever tasted!). This burger was pure perfection, a delightful mess! The heavenly Peanut Butter Cheesecake for dessert left me in awe. The top-notch service was both friendly and genuinely warm, served with a sincere smile!. After weeks of anticipation, I finally made it in, and it was well worth the wait! What's more, $1 from every El Grande Queso Smash sold goes to Feed Nova Scotia, helping to feed our neighbors. #hfxburgerbash #burgerlove #elgrandequesosmash #smashburgers #2doorsdown #dartmouthcrossing #getyourstretchypantsready #burgertime

I ordered the smokehouse smash burger with a side of fries. The burgers there are delicious and the hand cut fries were fresh. This was my second time there. You could tell the oil used to deep fry the fries was also freshly changed. My husband got the soup of the day, chilli con carne and haddock tacos. The soup was excellent. We tried the onion rings and appreciated the hot honey on them. It was a nice sweet and salty twist. I got the carrot olive oil cake with pineapple sauce. The pineapple sauce definitely gives the cake some depth otherwise it is okay. Online reservations was easy and so was making modifications to the reservations. Would recommend this restaurant!

We went to dinner at 2 Doors Down in Dartmouth Crossing on Valentine’s Day. 2 of us ordered off their Dine Around menu & the boys ordered burgers from their menu. The specialty gin cocktail (50 Shades of Earl Grey I think) was meh. Tasted like a sour candy. But the presentation was nice. The fully loaded potato soup was a hit with everyone, only comment was that it could’ve been hotter. I enjoyed the tuna tartare as an appetizer & it was delicious. Didn’t think to take pictures of our mains & desserts but the guys really enjoyed their burgers & the gnocchi with scallops & the gnocchi with crispy mushrooms were great. The cheesecake & sticky toffee pudding that came with the Dine Around were both good. We all liked the atmosphere - bistro casual. The service was very good. Hadn’t been here before but this experience prompted us to decide we will be back.

Went here for a friends birthday. We got the biscuits and the smash burger. The biscuits weren’t warm they were cool. They had gluten free options.

Our group booked out the restaurant for a private event. We have always booked out a hotel and done a buffet for our conference. We decided to try something new. We had 40+ people all sit down at the same time. Drinks were delivered quick. Starters all arrived very quick. The main courses were on our table soon after the appetizers were done. The desserts were perfect! I surveyed our members on if any of them would prefer a hotel buffet. I was nervous as I thought folks might like the change. All 40+ members in attendance the next morning agreed that the restaurant idea was great. Perfect service, amazing food and the venue was top notch. If you are looking to book for a private event just stop right now and book this place!
